Non-Ferrous Metal Foundry "Kowala" was established in 1986 in Ustroń in the Silesian Voivodeship, and specializes in the production of general industry use and decorative castings. At first, our production methods included permanent-mould casting and sand casting. In order to meet the needs of the market, five years after the establishment of the foundry, pressure casting method has been added to the offer.

Due to a growing number of clients and orders, the owners decided to expand the company, and in 1998 a production department of the foundry has been opened in the town of Chybie, which operates to this day.

Currently, the Ustroń department produces castings using the sand casting, permanent mould casting and centrifugal casting methods, and the Chybie department has been specialized to produce castings using the pressure casting method.

We produce castings for domestic and foreign clients, mainly in the electrotechnical, construction and engineering industries. The recipients of our products are well known companies such as: GE POWER CONTROLS, Indukta, Pafal, Celma, Perott, Ema-Elfa, Kubala.

The foundry offers services ranging from serial pressure casting to the production of single decorative elements like commemorative plaques, tables.

In order to be able to fulfil the requirements of our clients and to improve the quality of our services, our company has implemented a quality management system, in accordance with PN-EN ISO 9001:2001, which is being constantly perfected and supervised by an independent certification company TÜV NORT; the system's implementation is confirmed with a certificate.

As an interesting fact we wish to mention that our company has produced decoratively ornamented cannon barrels, which were used in the filming of "With Fire and Sword" by J. Hoffman, and which are currently located at Jasna Góra in Częstochowa.
